2017 GMC Denali with engine failure
Our 2017 GMC Denali suddenly developed an apparent severe engine problem. Mark quickly diagnosed both the engine and transmission problems
The Denali only had 84000 miles on it. After partial teardown, several lifters and the associated cam shaft were scarred and metal was in the oil. He quoted a complete tear-down and repair with a limited warranty, but, thankfully,
He recommended a total replacement with new engine and trans. The cost was significant, so I asked him to wait while I explored a replacement vehicle. The cost for new was prohibitive and buying an equivalent used vehicle had little or no warranty!
I ultimately took his professional advice and now have a "new car" with a 50,000 mile warranty!
I can't thank him and his crew enough!
