I have been using Tangi Car Care for a number of years for my personal vehicles. I brought my truck in to have the front suspension inspected for worn parts prior to getting a front end alignment. Since I am a mechanic by trade, I normally do my own repairs, but I like to have a front end technician inspect it first, that way I know that after I replace any worn parts I can bring it back for the alignment and there won't be any problems. I was greatly surprised when I was told that it would cost $50 plus tax. I have never been charged for this in the past, not even the shop that does my work truck. I paid for it, but after I replaced the worn parts, I went to Tire Choice for the alignment. Afterwards I asked them their policy on checking the front end and they said they never charge because they know they will be getting the alignment job not to mention a repeat customer. So congratulations Tangi. Enjoy the $50. Not only did you lose out on a $150 alignment you also lost a customer.
