This business(Syndicate of Speed) is closed down, the last address of this business is 109 Deacon road, due to the practices of David Payne, this business has been closed and all customer cars have been removed. He has multiple cases against him. If it wasn't for another shop helping me, my car and two other customer cars would have been lost to the landlord he never paid.

Consumer Beware - Steer Clear

WARNING!!! Steer WAY clear. My experience with the owner of this business has shown me he is unprofessional, dishonest, and untrustworthy as the day is long. I have been scammed big time even though he came highly recommended. I paid him $9,700 upfront over eight months ago for an engine and transmission that he supposedly ordered from a very reputable "national supplier".

I was told by David Payne, owner of Syndicate of Speed and Fab that it would take 4-6 weeks on delivery. Each time I had to contact him for an update (because I was put off, week after week, month after month, with the same old repetitive excuses that the "supplier" was holding up the job and my money. Finally, after 4 months, I personally contacted the “supplier” who confirmed that, in fact, NO purchase order for my parts had ever been placed by this dishonest, business owner.

To this day, I still don't have an answer as to what the owner of Syndicate of Speed and Fab spent my money on, but I can say for certain that it wasn’t anything for my vehicle! And now this guy wants me to feel sorry for him and his use of fraudulent actions and deceitful behavior. I am now forced to seek legal recourse in recuperating my $9,700 (plus extenuating fees above and beyond).

If I could give negative stars, I would. He isn't even worthy of one. My personal rating would be F-. I’ve worked with customers for 50+ years and I will never recommend this shop. CONSUMER BEWARE!

The owner of this fake business is Dave Payne. He is a thief and only goal is to screw people over. I will have his ass in court next week if he's even man enough to show up. Check out all of his court dates online. This idiot is the lower than whale shit on the bottom of the ocean. I can't wait to see him go down for good. I hope he spends his remaining years in prison. He's definitely earned it. I'm just happy to see his whole life is based around loss. Lost his friends, lost his family, lost his son. Soon he will lose his fake business and hopefully his freedom. I love watching this scumbag fall back to hell where he belongs. Dave I hope you read this and know it's nothing personal, it's just business. ??

Great Job

Dave did a great job on my truck, he took a bit longer than we discussed but I am happy with the results. His former business partner left him in a financial hole by stealing money and parts but he made good on my truck.
