Tires for life BS
Cooper purchased Hyundai in December 2024; Cooper is not covering what I was told when I purchased the car in January 2021:
I purchased my 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe in January 2022. At the time of purchase, I was told that I would receive “tires for life” as long as all vehicle service was performed at the Hyundai service department. I brought my car in for routine service today, 11/19/2025, and was informed that I need new tires costing over $1,000. One set of tires has already been replaced at no cost under this agreement.
However, I’m now being told that without a “tires for life” certificate—which I was never given—I will be responsible for the full cost. I have consistently recommended Hyundai to others because of the excellent customer service I’ve received in the past, which makes this situation particularly disappointing.
