I called Sunrise Automotive after having a bad experience with two other so-called mechanics. The shop was just around the corner from mine and I called mostly for the convenience.
What I learned was that this was the best call I could have made regarding my truck.
I spoke to Abraham who wanted my VIN or license plate number so that he could find the exact parts that I needed, and that he would stay open and wait for me to arrive from Grants Pass.
To make a long story short, Abraham was able to replace my AC components and get me back on the road the following day.
He was well experienced and knew exactly what parts needed to be replaced.
Even though this cost me twice what the previous Craig’s List mechanics quoted me, I knew that I was getting a quality repair, and that I didn’t have to worry about it failing on me in the middle of nowhere.
Next time you think about trying to save some money and time with Roberto or Terry from Craig’s List, DON’T! One wouldn’t call me back and the other said he couldn’t do it when I called him the day before my scheduled appointment to confirm, after waiting a week. What a waste of time.

I believe my AC system will now outlive my old 99’ F250 truck.
