One on one interaction with service manager, flexibility with appointment scheduling, professional
I have a reasonably good understanding of the importance of maintaining my car, and a reasonable knowledge the working parts of the engine, fluid levels, brakes, alignment, and the like.
I had requested an appointment with Steve's, for a diagnostic evaluation of my A/C, in my recently purchased (12/2020) used car. I had of course tested the heater before I bought it, but not the A/C. I did try the A/C one warm day last week, and it wasn't blowing any cold air.
Randy, the service advisor at Steve's, was able to give me a pre "fix it" cost, so that I had the opportunity to say yay or nay in regard to getting it fixed today. There was indeed a leak. I had this repaired. I now have A/C. Yay! It will be needed before too much longer!
Also, I appreciated the fact that there was no pressure, at all, to get any problems , (safety/emergent, or, non emergent), rectified today. Fortunately for me, there were no safety/emergent issues...I did receive very understandable explanations of what would need attention in the future.
I did elect to get the A/C repaired today.
Once again, it was a very positive experience today at Steve's Automotive Specialists.
