Stevens Creek Hyundai Damaged My Vehicle & Refused to Repair
I purchased a new 2019 Hyundai Ioniq from Stevens Creek Hyundai with damages on the roof and they promised to fix the repairs without any additional cost. I also purchased the paint protection, the maintenance package, and the extended warranty plan.
In April 2019, I brought my vehicle to Stevens Creek Hyundai Service for the roof repair, tune up, and paint protection application. During the pre-inspection drop off, a Stevens Creek Hyundai service attendant and I thoroughly inspected the vehicle and found no damages to the vehicle. All findings were noted on the inspection report.
When picking the vehicle from service, new damages were found to the vehicle: one on the driver side front fender and one below the front passenger door. New damages was confirmed by Hyundai employee at the time of pick up.
MIke Rhodas, the Service Manager Stevens Creek Hyundai refuses to take responsibility for the damages while it was in their possession. He is very to hard to reach and always too busy to talk and never responds to my emails.
On November 17, 2020, Mr. Rhodas finally returned my call and he falsely claimed that I signed a waiver releasing Stevens Creek Hyundai from any damages which somehow apply to every time I take my vehicle in for service. I never signed any waivers. I even requested a copy of this "signed waiver."
Mr. Rhodas has yet to provide me with a copy.
Mr. Rhodas offered me a touch up paint and to contact my insurance company for a resolution.
General Manager Joseph Malek also refused to repair the damages done by Stevens Creek Hyundai.
My vehicle is due for a tune up but I don't feel comfortable taking my vehicle to Stevens Creek Hyundai services. They might damage my vehicle again and I would not have any recourse.
I am filing a complaint to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. I will be contacting a lawyer, all the news channels, inform all my contacts and post on facebook not to buy from Stevens Creek Hyundai.
Don't buy anything from Stevens Creek Hyundai especially any warranty packages.
If you need a new Hyundai, go to Hyundai Capitol and ask for David Gil. They are professional, service is excellent and they also provide a Lyft transport for free. Steven Creek Hyundai service doesn't offer shuttle service.
Read all the 1 star and negative reviews on yelp from other unhappy customers about Stevens Creek Hyundai to verify how awful this place is. Email me at amd_0196@yahoo.com if you have questions.
I have photos and Docs the verify validity of complaint.
