Pleasant and Effective Car Buying
This was an old-style SUV purchase. Our first attempts at using the web were too frustrating and we needed test drives.

We visited multiple manufacturers' dealerships (Toyota, Nissan, Kia, Subaru, Mazda) to see what vehicles and prices were available. We did test drives with the best vehicles at each dealership anywhere near what we wanted in order to rule out unacceptable ergonomics, visibility, handling, power, or ride. We found the extra charges for new vehicles shocking at first and decided to buy a late model small SUV to avoid them. We narrowed down our choices from five to four to three to two, but kept visiting the dealerships in play. Hyundai stayed in the mix because they listened to what we cared about and showed us vehicles that met our expressed needs, including budget preferences. We visited them at least five times and took three test drives. They worked well as a team, and we valued their very high integrity. We are very detail oriented and place a high value on individual and dealership integrity. We were comfortable at every visit and they gave us just the amount of attention we wanted. The people knew their vehicles. We had three people in our family involved in the decision and as we hadn't bought a new vehicle in a while had many detailed questions from our three perspectives about power, handling, safety, reliability, service, warranty, financing, and new features and how new vehicles work. We got understandable answers easily and comfortably. We ended up buying a new Hyundai and are very happy with our decision.
