I received terrible service by Service Center Staff at HYUNDAI STEVENS CREEK SERVICE DEPT. I took my car in for an oil change and a recall and for some warranty work where my car was making clunking noises from the suspension. I took the car in on a Friday and the advisor confirmed that the noise was coming from brakes and not the suspension, the technician stated that all bolts on suspension were tight. I informed them that the brakes were recently replaced and the shop that worked on the brakes confirmed that the noise was coming from the suspension and CONFIRMED that brakes were all in perfect condition. He advised to bring the car in for a warranty defect. I constantly requested updates from the advisor as the week went by and she would not reply nor give me any updates. 2 Days prior to getting the car back I went to the service and went on a test drive with a technician and he determined that "it is definitely not the brakes" meanwhile in the multipoint inspection it was documented that all brakes were faulty and recommended me to replace all rotors and pads. However, after that day they confirmed that it was the suspension components being loose and not tight as they had previously stated in their documents. It seems like they don't even inspect the cars but rather assume that issues as such come from somewhere else, meaning that the customer has to bear the cost of something that is not even the problem. That is very concerning. Although, I understand that mistakes happen, I had to take time of my day to come show the "experts" where the noise is coming from. I was left without updates and no car for over a week. On the last day, they informed me that it was determined that the warranty does not cover the bolts being loose or defective that the warranty covers only defective and faulty parts. If the parts are loose and no one else has worked on the suspension of the car before, they are defective and in most cases according to certified technicians, these parts (bolts) must be replaced as some of these bolts are one time use. Therefore, they charged me over $280 to tighten some loose bolts. That makes absolutely no sense and plus the lack of professionalism these people have, I would absolutely not recommend taking your car there. **AVOID YOURSELF THE INCONVENIENCES AND HEADACHES GOING THERE. GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CUSTOMER IS TREATED FARILY AND WITH RESPECT. MANAGER AT THIS LOCATION IS VERY RUDE AND DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS DONE TO MY CAR NOR HOW THEY INSPECTED IT AND TROUBLESHOOTED ISSUES THE CAR HAD. THE ADVISOR PROVIDED ME WITH THE WRONG INFORMATION FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK AND DOCUMENTED ALL OF THIS ON THEIR REPORT.

Reselling a Genesis GV70
I bought a Genesis GV70 18 months ago here and I am very pleased with the car itself. I am moving back to Europe and visited Hyundai Stevens Creek to get a price on my car, the car itself is like new with 7000 miles on the odometer. They offered me over 40% less than I paid for it 18 months ago !!!! Interestingly a competitive Japanese dealer offered me 20% more than Hyundai themselves.
So if you are going to buy a Genesis don't buy it in Hyundai of Stevens Creek!

great service experiance
I had some problems with my 2011Hyundai Sonata after major repairs were done by them for damage caused by a theft of the car. I took it back to them to look at an Nick Collins took care of me. They took my car right away, did the additional repairs while I waited and now the car is running great. I would highly recommend them. They stand behind there work, are highly professional and do a really great job!

I think I got robbed by the service department
I took my car in for maintenance. 20 minutes later, they called me and told me my car was ready. When I received my car, the previous service sticker was still on and the service light needed was still on. It made wonder if service was performed.
I called to express my worry. The advisor told me he was offended and he expects a good review from me.

An excellent place to buy a car
I want to say how easy, and painless, it is to purchase a car when you go to Stevens Creek Hyundai. I started looking for a Tucson a few weeks ago. I had gone to several dealership throughout the bay area and wasn’t able to find the right one until i came across Stevens Creek on line. I left a message for them to contact me as i was interested in a specific color. Within a few hours, Markus Watkins, online product specialist, returned my call and told me they had the exact model i wanted. Upon arrival, Marcus greeted me and accompanied me on a test drive. He was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable about the car and was able to answer my questions. His actions sold me. The process of buying the car was very easy. I cannot remember all of the staff who helped out to make it easy and painless. Except Stephen Contreras, Finance manager, who was very personable and was able to explain everything so that i understood. I will definitely recommend them to my friends

If you are thinking of buying a car here please take the time to read this first.

Literally, the worst dealership that I have done business with. My family bought a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq here back in November 2022. The car had some registration issues because the dealership sold us a car with NO PINK SLIP!! I called to ask when I would get the license plate back in late January 2023 which was 3 months after the purchase. A sale associate told me to wait another 2-3 weeks because the DMV was backed up without checking anything. After 4 weeks and still haven't received the license plate or the title. I contacted the dealership again and another sales associate told me to wait another 2-3 weeks. After another 2 weeks and still haven't received anything. I contacted the dealership again and demanded to talk to a manager.

The person I spoke to was Mike the sales manager. He told me that the license plate has already been sent out in December 2022 but I didn't get anything in the mail and I would have to contact the DMV directly to get a replacement. Within 2 days, I received a letter from the DMV saying that the car could be impounded and we could be fined if we continue to use the car due to the registration process being incomplete. Keep in mind, when we buy the car we PAID FOR THE SERVICE FEES so that the dealership can take care of all the paperwork. So it was shocking to us that they didn't complete the registration process. On top of that, how could the DMV send us a license plate if the registration process was never completed in the first place?

We drove directly to the dealership and spoke to another sales manager there at the time named Dave. Dave was also no help. We left the dealership stressed and worried because we still don't know what was going on with the car after we PAID OFF EVERYTHING and 5 months later still have no registration or the title of the car or anything to show proof of ownership. The next day, I was told by Dave to contact Billy another sales manager there to get a loaner car to use in the meantime while they try to figure out what was going on that caused the registration process to be incomplete. Billy told me "I'll reach out to you later today and tell you how long to expect". That was the last thing I heard from Billy man.

2 weeks later when the loaner car agreement is about to expire. I reached out again to follow up with the process. After 3 direct unanswered calls and a series of "Please leave a message at the tone" from getting transferred by sales associates, I had the pleasure to speak to Mike again. This man did not help with anything at all as he blamed Billy as the main person working on the case and Billy was not working that day. He told me the problem was that the DMV doesn't have the pink slip of the car because the last owner was a military person so he/she traveled to many different states. And they can't locate where the pink slip is. They don't know who this person is as the car was bought through an auction. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SELL PEOPLE CARS WITH NO PINK SLIP????

At the end of the conversation, Mike said he will send the loaner extension in a couple of hours and he will tell me how long to expect. He did not send anything. I had to go call chasing to get this man to send me the loaner agreement the NEXT day. At this point, we don't even want the car anymore. We want to buy a car, not the hassles. Stevens Creek Hyundai has terrible customer service. As soon as you pay off your car, they still stop caring about you. They DO NOT take care of their customers. Everything is shady and non-transparent at this dealership. They will push your issues around to different people and different contact points. It has been an EXHAUSTING and DREADFUL experience dealing with the people here. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Take your money and go buy at some other Hyundai dealership. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Great service at Stevens Creek Hyundai
Recently had an problem with a 2019 Accent (some fuel injection issue it would seem). I brought the car down to Stevens Creek Hyundai and had such a great experience with the whole process that I wanted to share it. Alma B in Service was helpful and easy to communicate with. She let me know that there was a recall item that they would handle at the same time. Alma kept me updated on the process (which went really quick, drop off to pick up). It was all covered under the warranty, and with a level of courtesy and professionalism I've not before experienced at ANY dealership. Thank you Alma B !

Bad services
I am a daily customer for hynudai. I work for uber and I like to upgrade my car every 2 years. I have before sonata 2015 and 2018 and now I have 2020 sonata . I drive sonata because I like it .. the only thing I concern about the people work in the service office they very Rud and treat us like garbage. I went there for emergency things my car still under warranty and its 22000 mil now and the check engine light sign train on and the RPM GO UP and when I stop the car need to jump. and like I say I am uber driver and my car have to be 100% perfect and safe . Because I do have customer in my car I have take care of them . I drive to the dealer they Refuse to fix my car because is no time for me and I have to back after 2 to 3 weeks . I tell them but this emergency and my car is my business is my job. They Refuse to fix it .now for 3 weeks I did not get penny's. And when I went to my Appointment yesterday January 19 for mintinice I find the dealer close because they gonna have new owner. So I dont konw what I do I talk to 5 people today they shetting me and no boday fix my problem. I think I have to take Hyundai to the court . And tomorrow I will trying to send message to the company owner in Korea. Is not good for hynudai to sell us cars can't be fix it..my car is way to get my food...this my email if someone need to fix my case

I have been bringing my car in for service ever since purchasing at the same dealership. Lynn is an exceptional service worker who keeps me up to date on everything my car needs. Terrific Service and Turnaround
This is our third Hyundai vehicle. We've stuck with SCH all throughout as they've provided excellent expert advice and friendly service in the service department. The staff in that department always make me feel as though my vehicle is the most important one of the day (even when they're inundated with service needs for the day!)
