Couldn’t fix car
I brought my car in because it was stopping. I paid for a diagnostic test. They said I need a throttle so I paid $600 for service. My car continued to stop. I brought back in they took another look at my car and couldn’t tell me the problem. This time I paid $100 to to it there. So I’m out $700 and my car is till stopping. Very disappointed I thought standard General had great service. Totally disappointed. I want a refund or partial refund.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear you’re still experiencing issues with your vehicle. When you first brought your car in, our diagnostic process and the fault codes pointed to a failing throttle body, which was also making noise and affecting acceleration. Based on that, we proceeded with the necessary replacement.

We understand how frustrating intermittent issues can be, especially when they persist. You’ve returned a couple of times, and we’ve done our best to reassess the problem, but unfortunately, intermittent concerns can be difficult to diagnose—especially when they don’t occur consistently during testing.


That said, we are still committed to working with you to get to the bottom of the issue. While we are unable to offer a refund due to the confirmed condition of the original throttle body and the related codes, we are more than willing to continue diagnostics and explore any other potential causes at no additional charge.
