My car was recall for the anti theft. It hasnt been 2 weeks and I started to have issues. First the passenger door wouldn't lock took it for service and they wanted to charge me ,$500 bucks sayiing its time for a new lock for my door. I left because I wasnt paying it and now my car won't start.I called them and they didn't give a shit Car was working fine until the recall..It's all about money there no empathy especially if you're a loyal customer

Would not honor factory recall
For 6 months the service dept and Anthony Falcone ignored and then lied about my attempts to resolve a factory recall on a 2017 Sonata. Upon contacting Hyundai Consumer Affairs, they confirmed the lies by Mr Falcone, fully honored the recall and encouraged me to also file complaints with BBB and on social media. Do NOT deal with service dept at Springfield Hyundai; they are deceitful and only care about “certain” customers.

Engine Problem after I brought it in for recall!
I brought my vehicle in because I received multiple emails that a recall service was due on my vehicle, "my vehicle was running fine." I took my vehicle to Springfield Hyundai for the recall issue and they returned the car back to me, saying that everything was ok; not long after the engine light came on and the vehicle started idling rough. When I reached out to the dealership, the acted like there was no issue, but then they called me back and said that there was an issue and to bring the car back (which we did yesterday)! They are now telling me that they want to do the repairs under warranty!

The other issue I have is that I have two small children (one 7yrs old and one 3 mos) and I told them that I really need my car! This dealership did not arrange for me a rental, but yet I see here in other posts that customers received rental vehicles! Why an I being treated differently? I have an extended warranty!

Horrible
Be prepared for the lies. Purchased my vehicle here. It's still under warranty and they seriously did not want to fix what they said was a normal engine clicking sound. Said it would be 150 dollars for diagnostic. My warranty is 10 yrs or 100,000 miles, which ever comes first. My car has 38,000 miles and it's 6 yrs old. Came here twice for this issue and got the run around. Full of bullshit. They just lost my business. Will never purchase a vehicle from here again or recommend anyone I know.

Car was fixed but the experience could have been better
My cars motor blew out. Might have been due to the existing recall on sonata engines, I don't know - was never told. I had my car towed to the dealership and they got me a rental which was nice. Didn't get many status updates and I had to call to get them each time. I assume they're very busy which is fair. Overall, took two months, which is fine because of supply chain shortages. My cars inspection lapsed while it was at the dealership, they didn't ask if i wanted to have it completed while it was in shop. Seems to be working now that I have it back. Don't think I'll be buying a Hyundai again.
