Left my car in pieces!!!
Took my Mitsubishi eclipse in and told me it was the timing chain that broke and bent the valves the cylinder head would need to be machined. They kept repeating themselves over and over about “how nice of a car I had” to the point it felt fake and just trying to juice me up. I felt a bit lured to pay for a $4500 job that I reluctantly agreed only on terms they would have it fixed within the next week. Turns out the whole engine was blown and they tried to charge me almost $700 to get my car back without them fixing it while also telling me they couldn’t find an engine for me. I told them I’d write a review about their service if they charged me for that so they just cut the price in half, which I was still unhappy about. The guy I was talking to told me I had time (a couple days or so) to figure out what moves I wanted to make next with the vehicle. The very next morning, I believe it was the owner or someone else not so nice, telling me I had to get the car out that day or they will start charging me because they were tired of looking at it. The next shop I took it to told me they left my car a total hack job by leaving it in pieces, making it harder for them to work on. The new shop I took it to was adament that it was a total sign of disrespect and bad service for them to leave it like that. Do not go to them unless you want to be overcharged and quite possibly a total waste of time and money
