Cliente VerificadoWe reached out to this customer offering to have Service Manager and the techician go to the certified mechanic where she got her the second opinion to check with her and show the oil leak we found. There was oil leaking from the back of the valve cover resulting in oil saturating the back of the engine. If someone opened the hood and did not inspect beyond the front if the engine thouroughly it would not be seen.
This was a 14 year old car so a leak such as this would not be uncommon. The customer turned down our good faith inspection offer so we unfortunately did not get the opportunity to prove ourselves and show that we do not lie about needed repairs.
