No start no communication to ecu
Took 2007 passat in for a no start no communication to ecu spoke with a technician to find who would be working on the car so i could inform him if what was going on with the car i personally had just put another engine in the car got all of the bugs out no fault codes nothing car ran great for 200 miles then just shut off at a red light wouldnt start back up i dont have access to ve audi scann tool software or an oscilloscope so i took it to solo to have a diagnostic performed they guy i spoke to at the shop pointed out a kid looked to be about 18 or 19 years old told me he was suppose to be working on it .the man i was talking with took the scan tool from him and started to look at some fault codes and the tech that was suppose to work on my car asked the other tech how he got the scanner to oull up codes he couldn't get it to communicate.so the next morning they call me wanting 5 hrs to do diagnostics at 120 hr.i laughed at him and took my car out of there if your having electrical issues or need diagnostics done dont bring your car to solo they have no clue on how to even start a diagnostic test for no communication with ecu .if any tries to charge you more than an hour then they dont know how to use tbe equipment they have.this place is a joke.if they cant plug into the computer and it tell them whats wrong with it then they cant fix it.
