Left hoses loose which cost me more than expected
I have been going to get my car service for 1.5 yrs. Normally they do a good job, but this time the mechanic left some plugs loose. Check engine light came on the SAME day I got service. I called & the rep (lady) said to tighten my gas cap. I told her I haven't put in gas in my car. I didn't bring my car back because they had my husband car for 2 weeks which they could not figure out the issue. He had to go and get his car from their shop. Because they didn't know what was the issue with my husband's car, I decided to take my car to an old mechanic company who then told me that Service 1st Auto Care left SEVERAL hoses loose. After the repairs which cost me $575, I spoke with Kevin who then told me it was their fault for leaving the hoses loose & my fault for taking it another mechanic. The reason why I didnt take my car back because I didn't trust this company after they left several hoses loose & they didn't fix my husband car after being at their auto for 2 WEEKS. He did said that he would "pray about giving me some funds back". I called and left messages, but NO word from Service 1st Auto Care. All I wanted them to do is do the right thing since they caused this expensive issue. Good luck to anyone who continues to go to them for car repairs.
