I was looking for a Good Mechanic, AAA had them on their list and they reviewed well so I took my 2008 Buick Lucerne over there with a bad coolant leak. They did a through inspection and found a couple of issues, a failed coolant elbow and the top radiator hose was poor shape. The interesting thing about all of this is that for the last few years I was taking this car to a Buick dealer, and I suspect that they did not spot some of these issues, with a September 2025 radiator replacement, also a very minor coolant drip I had seems to be gone. That minor drip, which I had for several years, was identified to me as a engine housing gasket failure, which was quoted at a near $2000 repair, we will see as time moves on if that is the case, and the minor coolant leak shows up again. Scotty's has a great warranty and I got a very through report from them. Great Shop!
