This tire installation was by far the best I have ever experienced. Initially, I chose Salvio Motorworks based upon their customer reviews and their mounting and balancing equipment. And, I'm so glad I did. Their tech, Duncan, did a superb job of installing the Michelin tires from Tire Rack. His attention to detail and the care he took with my BMW wheels were amazing. There is not a single mark on the wheels from mounting the tires. Once the tires were mounted, he meticulously cleaned the area where the weights would mount so they would stick properly. And speaking of weights, the barrel of my wheels is a dark color and Salvio is the only installer that I have ever seen using black wheel weights. So nice to have weights that appear nearly invisible, rather than the usual shiny metallic or gray colored weights that virtually all shops use. And, before reinstalling the wheels on my X5, Duncan washed the wheels, including the barrels, leaving them spotlessly clean. My X5 has 21" wheels and the tires are very low profile, both of which make mounting the tires difficult. Duncan and Salvio's high end equipment made it all look easy. I am a very particular person and I am completely satisfied with the result of the tire installation. If you are in central Connecticut and in search of a first class tire installer, Salvio should be your choice. Go see the owner, Jay, and experience tire service as it should be!
