Run and Never Look Back
On May 28th, 2019, I dropped off my car to Ron’s Restoration in Johnstown, Ohio. I had gone there in early May and Ron looked at my car and gave me an estimate to repair a rust spot on my rightside bottom rocker panel. I had to wait to get into his shop on May 28th. Ron had my car until August 7th, 2019. After numerous phone calls and visits regarding the status of the vehicle and the status on the repair we just took it back from him on August 7th. During some of my site visits I found the car to be out back, very dirty, unlocked, and with two front flat tires. After being there for 2 months the car no longer turned over to drive it back home. Not only did we hear many reasons why it was not done, on a weekly basis, upon getting my car back it was not only not repaired but it had additional damage to the front bottom spoiler and left side door. It was covered in spots of sticky adhesive. I can not tell you how utterly disappointed I am of the unprofessional and unethical actions of the owner, Ron Woods. He has excuses that just roll off his tongue. He should not be in business and I would not recommend you put your trust or vehicle in his hands.
