Disappointed
I tried RCC for the first time for an oil change. I was very please and thought I would use them for a car repair. Unfortunately, it was quite a different experience. They diagnosed the problem and advised that my air conditioner compressor needed to be replaced. It sounded pricey but I was stuck, so I agreed. After fixing the belt/compressor, they then advised the alternator needed to be replaced. It would have been nice if they would have tested it at the same time. So, the alternator was replaced with another labor charge. Once that was done I was the advised the radiator needed to be replaced. I couldn't stomach the bleeding anymore and declined the repair. So ultimately, I'm out over $2500 for a car that still needs extensive work and I can't even drive at this point. If I would have known all the issues and costs, I probably would have cut my losses and looked at trading the vehicle in. I'm sick thinking about how much more I have to put in at this time. I understand they specialize in diesel, but they need to do better with average gas vehicles. They are charging a premium, including a lot of add on, "shop costs", etc that I've never seen before. Extremely disappointed in the entire ordeal.
