Charged for transfer case that was a used piece of crap

My truck was tied up at Rich's Auto Care & Dyno business for more than a month, sitting unlocked, waiting to repaired. They had the transmission rebuilt by another business, Ultimate Transmission. The transfer case also should have been rebuilt but Rich installed a used case instead at a cost of $1645 parts and labor. This used case was never cleaned as promised prior to installing it in my truck. Therefore I don't know if they were aware the part was defective. After less than 100 miles at a cost of $2638 by Ultimate Transmission, the case had to be rebuilt a second time. Rich claims there is only a 30 day warranty on the used case. Most of those 30 days the truck was on his lot waiting for a leak in the transmission to be fixed. So the 30 day warranty should not apply since I was taking the truck back to him every week due to this leak. He never did fix the leak; I ended up taking it to Ultimate Transmission ( who Rich uses all the time) and they quickly fixed the leak. In doing so they discovered the transfer case was trashed and needed to be replaced again. I paid for the part and labor a second time. I brought this to Mr. Pedraza's attention to no avail.
I feel he should stand behind his work and reimburse me for the defective part charged to me.
