When we are looking for a vibration issue the first place our technicians start is with the tires because more times a vibration is found with tires and wheels and not the alignment. The condition of your old tires tires were definitely the cause of your vibration. However, you are correct in that if there was wear on your old tires your alignment should definitely be checked. Vehicle alignment should be checked once per year or when tire wear is detected. I apologize if this was not communicated to you during your first visit. As a courtesy to our customers purchasing four tires we do offer free alignment checks. We would be happy to do this for you since you are planning on purchasing your other two tires soon. We will provide you a print out that will show if and where your alignment is out. If there is adjustments to be made the fee is $59.95.
