Recon rip off. Customers beware of bad mechanics

Let me share my experience with Recon. Took my vehicle in for a repair. They call me to come pick it up and I pay the extremely high price. I get in my vehicle and start it and it's not even safe enough to drive it off the lot. So I go back to tell them the problem. They see the problem and offer to fix it. I agree to that. They call me again and say your vehicle is ready for pick up. I show up and pay more money because they said they had to replace a sensor, so I pay. Get in my vehicle for the second time to go home and notice they fixed nothing, still had the same problem. So I go and tell them it is still not fixed and unsafe to drive. They take the vehicle back into the shop. After 45 mins. I tell them I want my vehicle back because I wasn't giving them anymore money and will take to another shop to see what they did to my vehicle. When I told them that, they had it fixed in 10 min. That made me suspicious. I happily get in and drive home with no more problems. Later that day I take my vehicle to car wash and notice front passenger damage to my vehicle. So the I think this was dilberat cause I wouldn't leave until they fixed the problems they caused. Can't prove it but I know they damaged my vehicle. My message to the citizens of Ex. Springs, Beware of rip offs and lies from these type of businesses. One more thing, I ask for the broken parts that they replaced and they said they didn't have them. This place needs to be investigated.

Recon Auto Repair is ill-equipped

The service and communication was extremely poor. I left my vehicle with them for more than 72 hours. They over charged for the transmission fluid drain and refill service was over $500 and they were not even sure that it would solve the issue. My personal opinion of Recon, they have had a tremendous declined and they LACK professionalism, communication, customer service. I am a resident of ESMO and very disappointed in RECON Auto service and will drive to Liberty or Kearney for auto service. Truthfully I could have saved alot of time & money taking it to a dealership.

Customer Service was great

Brought our diesel truck in for a few issues, found another issue. They made sure my wife made it home. I've used them since moving here and have no issues or complaints with their services.

Highly Recommend Auto Repair Shop in E Town!

I highly recommend Recon for all you vehicle repairs! They are very friendly, fix only what needs to be fixed, and very honest people. They are very affordable, compared to the local dealerships in town and try their best to get your vehicle back on the road quickly.

Yukon repair

Always love the work they do, however we had the tune up and it’s still misfiring in idle. Plus, it still shakes when we’re coming to a stop as well. I need to call and have them take a look again.

Pads and Rotors all around

The folks at Recon Auto Repair are most efficient and tentative. Everyone there is quite friendly and hardworking. I went in to get pads and rotors replaced all around on my AWD 300C. When they ordered the parts they ended up getting the wrong size rear rotors sent to them, the parts shop sent them rear rotors for a RWD, but Gabbi in the front office and the boys in the shop made quick work of the situation and got the right parts and got me back on track with no additional time or quote changes. Fantastic job, fair competitive prices, I’ll be using Recon Auto Repair for any future automotive endeavors and repairs and will recommend them to anyone in the future.
