I'm a realtor specializing in the upper end of residential real estate in the DFW metro. I saw this listing at 175 Peninsula Drive, Rowlett for a large, lake front estate priced at $1.7m. I presented it to a great client that immediately became interested in the property. To make a long story short, I embarrassed myself professionally and ultimately lost the client. The listing was inaccurate and misleading in just about every possible way. To name a few, it was not lake front or complete. The quality of the home and its contents were grossly below anything near its listed price range. The listing and the home would not pass an inspection or stand up to a survey. The most embarrassing issue was that the property and its owner are clearly involved in some type of fraud and other legal liabilities. My client discovered the ridiculous number of liens, mortgages and "property sales" before I did (my fault as I trusted the listing agency). Rayo Net Properties, Mr. Juan Olvera, Mr. Michael Murphree, Ms. Lily Moore, and Dallas All American Properties (and many other companies) are all at this address. Interesting as the home is not homesteaded, allowed to be a business address, and appears to change hands every time they rack up too many liens to include mechanic liens. After 8 years as a realtor, I'm apparently still learning about the "scams". I have no idea if the listing, Rayo Net Properties, or anything else at this address is legitimate.
