Our first situation was a "by-chance" situation concerning an SC-430 Timing Belt. Having performed so well, we had an alignment issue where a national franchise with whom we had a lifetime alignment contract recommended one upper and 2 bottom ten rods , 1 rotor, and brakes for both the front and rear. There cost was about $1300.
Suspect, I took it for a second and a third opinion. Taking it to a local mechanic, I was told that you'd replace both upper and lower tie rods if it were performed, and that I did NOT need any brakes or rotors. Its price estimate was $700.
I took the vehicle to Rapid Auto Care, was told virtually the same thing from Ravi and "Gator", two personable folks, who provided an estimate of $370. Obviously, I gave them the business, and they provided me a great repair. All is well, and I down-selected from three auto care enterprises to one: RAPID AUTI CARE..!
