Our doors opened in 1999 in a small 1,000 square foot shop just south of 96th Street behind what used to be called Hubbard Feeds but is now called Barkefellers. We got our start working on fleet trucks for The Overhead Door Company. From there, we moved up the road to a 5,000 sq. ft building and rented it for five years. Bad experience
I came in cause my car wasn’t shifting right. I just replaced the filter and fluid, still shifting issues, dropped pan again to replace shift solenoids, replaced fluid and filter again, still shifting issues. Took it to them they said needed new transmission. Spent 7,300, got it back and still had shifting issues. I did some research and the LED brake lights I put in just before this was giving back feed to my trans which was interfering with how my transmission was preforming. Once I unhooked those lights it was shifting just fine again. I figured that out! When follow up to see how car was doing his attitude changed to defensive saying the trans was dark and sludge (which it wasn’t when I changed it twice before but ok maybe deep it was?) but I didn’t need a new transmission. That wasn’t my issue, could I used one in the far future probably but not at that time nor was that causing the issue I came in for. Didn’t even offer to refund diagnostic charge or anything. Just defensive and dramatic with how trans even “stunk up the shop”. They’re super nice guys but this experience and definitely tainted my view on how they operate and diagnose. My trust with them is broke. $7,300 when my issue was miswired lights, which did have a brake code MIL on and stored. Which I had to do my own research and connect that the two could affect each other.
Over all they’re nice guys and I’m sure do good work but this particular issue cost me a LOT of money and the defensive response instead of acknowledging how their diagnosis was wrong was disheartening and I can’t view them as an honest shop now.

Stephanie, this is the owner and I'm sorry to hear about your concerns. I understand you're upset. If you would let me explain, it might help to clear things up. I want to assure you there is no doubt that you needed a transmission. I am 100% confident in that. The shifting problems caused the clutches to slip and burn the fuild. The clutches were burnt so bad it actually smelled up the shop. My office is upstairs and even I could smell it. When you serviced the filter, you only got about 10% of the fluid out of the transmission. That is why it was still very dirty when we seen it. Dirty fuild indicated slippage, and the smell is actually the clutch material in the fuid it's self. I am very familiar with this repair because I drove the car and put several miles on it just to make sure the job was done perfectly. I drove so much I had to put $25 worth of gas in it. There were no codes stored in any of the ecm's when we got the car. It was most likely the 110,000 miles on the car that caused the most wear and I'm sure the lights didn't help any. I know the sinking feeling in your gut when you think you just wasted a bunch of money or think you got taken. I promise you neither of those feelings are true. Your car definity needed a tranmission. It sounds like there were some intermitten concerns after our repair was completed but the tranmission still needed replaced. I just wish the concern you stated after you picked it up would've happened while I or my technician test drove it. I understand you may still think we are dishonest or incompetent and that is your choice to make. We always have and always will keep the customers best interest our top priority. Fast and affordable!

Camry brake check
I brought in my 2010 Camry for a brake check. Was told brakes were fine and the car was in pristine condition. I will return for any work that needs to be checked and will recommend them highly and often!

Love my car guy!
We have patronized Professional Automotive for years. We have found them to be fair and reasonable uncaring for our autos. I could not imagine trusting our vehicles to another car center. We truly have a guy when it comes to to auto care.

Quick and Honest
Oil change done. Price was right. They were honest about potential items that were observed that may need done in the future, unlike some garages that tell you that you need an overhaul when you just want an oil change.
