I had a good experience with them previously... they did an engine swap, multiple clutches, AC work, and the like for me over the years.
I've spent a lot of money here.
I called today to get another engine swap and one of the guys, Charlie, decided to call me a "f#@king idiot" when he couldn't hear me responding by phone.
When I called back, Charlie, then threatened to report me... and hung up.
When I called back again, I finally got Darrel on the phone and he gave me the quote for the engine swap that I was calling to get in the first place.
Needless to say it's disappointing to see such piss poor customer service. Especially when I'm calling to give them another $6,000.00 or more in work.
When Darrel put Charlie back on the phone he barked, "what do you want?"
I responded, "How about an apology..."
I got a half hearted "I apologize" followed by silence... Clearly ego and pride were Charlie's focus, not service.
When I asked him "what for" He then mumbled again, "this guy is a f#@king idiot" and set the phone down.
So, I appreciate the funny story that I get to tell all my friends now. And, I'm grateful for the unfiltered honesty... but the sheer stupidity of a business owner acting as his own enemy is beyond me.
There are too many businesses out there busting their butts for good customers. I will be paying them going forward... and concluding every story I tell about repairs with "That's why I don't recommend Pro Diesel."
Its clearly amateur hour over there.
Don't waste your time. This shop has lost its mojo.
