Vehicle's engine stalled while driving on US 19. Tow truck driver insisted it was a bad starter (which would not cause a motor to shut off while driving). He then cranks the car 8 conservative times until the starter began to smoke. He then states " that's the problem " and recommended his shop to repair it.
Car towed to a AAA recommended proshop, they reported a technological service bulletin (TSB) from the manufacture of engine failure. The starter was damaged by the driver! He accepted NO ACCOUNTABILITY and denied it happen.
