Unfortunately I will not bring my Ford truck to this dealership unless absolutely required. The only reason I did this time is because of non-critical recall and even that cost me 5 days without my truck. The recall was addressing tailgate inadvertently opening that took 2 days to then pickup without any Ford adviser to review & go over repair before picking it up. Technician didn’t verify tailgate operation was working upon closing out repair ticket. I get home and tailgate now doesn’t open/move at all causing me to call service adviser for her to send someone to pick up my truck. All the while this adviser was only reactive to me inquiring the status of my truck each day and not him reaching out and keeping me in the loop of what is happening. Then I get a text message from adviser stating that foreman found there is bad wiring and sends me an invoice for $1295 to fix the issue. I asked my adviser via message for service advisor to call me to discuss and after a day waiting I dropped by dealership to discuss in person since no return phone call. I informed service manager that my tailgate was working prior to this recall assessment and it appeared that technician did something to now cause the tailgate to seem dead without any sense of trying to operate. So the technician must have shorted or not connected the proper wiring for the system to even seem to work and obviously didn’t check his work upon finishing recall. Service manager took responsibility and I asked to please put a different foreman on my repair and two days later after checking and tracing 42 wiring signals, determined that actuator was bad and ordered and repair seems adjudicated with a $2273 final cost to repair that service manager waived due to whatever happened during the recall repairs/adjustments.

99 Ford Pace Arrow Class A Engince repairs
For thos of us that travel i a Class A RV finding a dealer service center can be hard. After calling 5 other dealers I ended up talking will Bill in the service department. I explained we were on a lond distance trip and basically living in out RV with two Dogs. He explained that due to size they only had one service bay fir large work and it would be well over a week to get me in but call back in ten days. Wwhen i called them back on a Monday they said they could do my work Wednesday Morning. So Wednesday morning they took my vehicle in to verify the codes and figure out how to correct the hard starting issued. By Wednesday evening the fent they had solved my problem but needed to keep it over night to verify the hard start issue was gone by letting it cool over night anf try starting Thursday morning. They went above and beyond to help me out and even allowed us to stay in the RV Wednesday night to save us the agrégation of finding a dog friendly motel. I can't thank them enought for the efficiency and kindness. I highly recommend service writter Bill Stoufer and Service Technicien Brad Nixon and Park Ford Service in Gainesville, Fla.

Would not recommend the service department
Made an appointment for an oil change/regular safety inspection on a new Ranger we purchased from Parks a few months ago. The appointment was for 1:00 PM, we arrived at 12:45 and were immediately relieved of the keys and paperwork completed. We were going to wait, and the advisor stated 1.5 hours for the service, which was a bit excessive, considering there were not that many vehicles being serviced, AND it was a simple oil/filter change.
We stayed occupied in the waiting area, I walked around the lot, couldn’t find my vehicle, so figured it was in some other bay I had no access to.
Shortly after 2 (75 minutes since our arrival, our vehicle was driven into the service area we could see through the viewing window to begin the scheduled service. About an hour later, when I went to check status, a service advisor said it would be right up after the paperwork was completed.
Two hours for a simple oil change???
I had the truck in a couple months ago for installation of a brake controller. The job was supposed to take 2.5-3 hours, yet I was waiting in the lobby for 6 hours. So I detect a “pattern” here.
There will not be a 3rd time, as I don’t plan on returning for any reason... There are lots of Ford dealers within easy driving distance of my home, and one is just as good as another.
Besides, the Ford dealer that is closer to where I live offers a military discount on parts and service, Parks does not...

2021 Ranger Truck Purchase
Like most people I wasn’t excited about going through the new car purchase drama. But Milton and his manager Jorge made the experience low stress, and much less of a dance.
I’d highly recommend Parks, and Milton for your next new car purchase!

Total Rip Off
I went to Ford because I thought they would know more about the problem I was having. I own a 2014 F150 3.5L. These people are nice but that's there job. They started off by telling me that the problem was 100% my turbos and it would be $3600. Well it took them 2 weeks to get turbos and put them on and my truck is ready. I pay for the service which was my fault never should of payed first. I drove the truck 1/4 mile and the Check engine light came on. Drove it back to them and they ran more codes saying it was different codes. I seen the codes they were the same. After about another week they called and said it was my catalytic converters and they would replace them for another $1500. Then I get another call from a gentlemen that tells me they tested my turbos incorrectly but they were already gone to core. Long story short the problem ended up being my muffler a $500 fix that cost me $3000. Yes they replaced my Turbos, Catalytic converters and my muffler and gave me back $695 but they had my truck for 4 weeks and cost me $3000. I could of saved $2500 if they would just replaced my muffler. This place will take, take and take. I do not recommend Parks Ford of Gainesville to anyone. Maybe an oil change but that's it.

Mr. Milton Payne helped me buy a new Escape, I'm very happy!
On 11/28/20, my son was in a terrible accident, which totaled my 2018 Escape. Wanting to purchase another Escape, I went to Parks Ford, where I met Mr. Milton Payne, a salesman there. He was very knowledgable, helpful, and easy to work with. By the end of the day, I was driving a new Escape home. I would recommend my family and friends to work with Mr. Payne and Parks Ford.
Thanks,
Nancy F.

Management does not value customers
If you are considering purchasing a vehicle or having your vehicle serviced at Parks please consider other alternatives.
Here is how I was valued as a customer-
Issue #1
9/27/18- My car is serviced for an oil change and alignment. I had scheduled an appointment and was told it would be around 1-2 hours, but it takes closer to 4 hours. Upon leaving Parks I notice that the wheel seems to be slightly off and I try my best to ignore the issue.
10/19/18- I no longer can stand the wheel being off and decide to take my vehicle back to Parks to have them correct the issue. Once again, I wait 3 hours and then I am asked to pay for the alignment. Having informed the service member previously that I had already had my vehicle serviced, I considered this unacceptable. I refuse to pay and leave. A few days later I receive an email asking me to rate my experience and I do so truthfully and how I felt like I was treated as a customer.
11/21/18- I receive an email from Brent R. (Director of Customer Relations) and I am asked to change my feedback.
Issue #2
4/20/19- Appointment confirmed via email for 4/21/2019
4/21/19- I arrive at 11:30 and join a line of cars waiting for the service department to open. Around 12:15 no one has arrived and the line of cars has grown. After multiple phone calls, I speak to a representative from Ford and I’m informed that Parks is closed for the holiday. After leaving I post a review about this experience to Facebook.
4/22/19- I receive a phone call from Parks apologizing for being closed. After setting a time for a new appointment I am asked to remove my review from Facebook.
4/23/19- I am informed that my vehicle (16k) has a faulty steering rack and it needs to be replaced. The part is on back- order and it will arrive by the end of July. I receive a loaner car from the dealer.
4/23-6/17- I speak weekly with a Regional Rep for Ford.
6/19/19- My Vehicle is ready for pickup.
6/20/19- I notice my car’s steering wheel is out of alignment. I inspect my car completely to make sure there aren’t any other problems and I notice a nail in the tire.
6/25/19- I take my car back to be serviced and I am told there has been a recall issued on my car and the service member is confused as to why it wasn’t done when they had my car for two months. I receive a phone call later and informed that they will not cover the cost of the tire.
As a young adult that will purchase a multitude of vehicles and who will influence others, you should have treated me with greater respect.
Please, do not ask me to remove this post.
I should have considering the alternatives.

Bate and Switch on Price
They did the old bate and switch on the price they gave me over the internet. Without asking any questions about eligibility, the price they quoted me included every debate that Ford offered. Then they overcharge me on the sales tax. Their paperwork is set up to be very confusing and difficult to follow. They tell you one price, then charge you another. If you deal with them, make sure you understand what your signing and don't believe anything they tell you. Make them break everything down into something that you can understand. They tried to rip me off for $650.00, but with the DMV's help, I was able to get back the $150.00 they overcharged me for sales tax.
