Check your bills for GROSSLY overcharged parts!
OTA, if you appreciate my feedback, then, you must respect my opinion and my ethics! Until now you never had an issue with my money or my ethics. So here you go!

OTA used to be excellent; however, the new owner, Cody, now over charges for parts. He wanted to charge me $120 for six spark plugs, plus $179 per hour to install the plugs. Autozone sells the same plugs for $48!!!! If you are a customer at OTA, take a good look at your next bill and compare the parts price to what the parts REALLY cost. I realize auto repair facilities need to make money; however, please realize if a part lists MSRP for $8.00, OTA does NOT pay retail. They probably pay 10-20% less. And for OTA to charge $20 for this part is ridiculous!!! For you to say, it was a system error, please, a lot of your pre-existing customers already noticed you over-charged them and now they left. I have work orders and estimates showing your gross overcharging of parts.

Another example is changing a cabin air filter. You change your hourly rate to $107 and charge $39.95 for the filter. The best filter available at Autozone is only $31.99. How about that, OTA is again over charging for parts!

This is just the start of things at OTA. People are catching on and their smart customers are starting to leave. Wonder why?

OTA recently changed the oil in two of my cars and the oil filters were both leaking. The owner said if I keep checking their work, they don't want my business. If they did it correctly the first time, I would not have to check their work!!  Yes, I complained about the leaking oil filters and you said maybe it was because of the gasket on the motor. Anyone who knows anything about an oil filter, there isn't a gasket on the engine; it's on the oil filter. When I brought this to your attention, you stared at me like a deer in the headlights.

Your ethics are lacking and your business will slowly lose its customers.

I CHALLENGE EVERY OTA CUSTOMER TO TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT YOU BILL AND COMPARE THE PARTS PRICE TO WHAT THE SAME PART WOULD COST AT ANOTHER PARTS SUPPLY WAREHOUSE/STORE. YOU WILL QUICKLY SEE WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!

Cody, you yourself told me that once you purchased the business, you raised your prices in order to afford the monthly payment. You said that you employ people who you don't want to employ, out of respect for these workers, at this time I won't say their names or titles. Oh, what happened to that nice guy at the front desk you let go because you hired someone you like better at half the hourly rate!

Cody, you have been successful in taking a well run well respected auto repair facility and start to run it into the ground. The 50 five star ratings you have are historic and I expect to see more of your customers authoring Google reviews with one star. I truly hope you see the light and change your attitude, your ethics and make the once thriving business successful again!

As far as Cody responding to this post, you have the ability to do so but I'm sure you will try to do some damage control and make excuses. It's okay, your customers will now look at their bills and start to ask you the same questions that I did!!!!!

If anyone reading this post and knows anything about me, my ethics are beyond reproach. I'm confident in saying the above information is true and correct to the best of my knowledge..
