I'm an Attorney. My work is high stress. My hours are long and my schedule is very hectic. I'm also a single Mom to teenagers and involved in community groups. Its hard for me to get to the gym at a consistent time, and almost impossible to hire a trainer to train me on my schedule. Enter Coach Chris' online fitness coaching. Its perfect for me!
I was skeptical at first-now I'm a believer.
Online fitness coaching allows me to train whenever I can. The sign-up process is simple through Chris' website. I originally purchased 90 days of training and nutrition planning, and later purchased more. The required forms are dispatched through his app. Once I subscribed to his package he called me via phone and we had a lengthy discussion about my current lifestyle and desired goals. My concerns were appropriately addressed (i.e., my age, I'm a smoker, and I have lower back issues). We formulated a plan for my training, and set appointments for when I would communicate with Coach Chris.
My workout and nutrition plans were sent to me by the smartphone application. Everything is done through the smartphone application which is extremely convenient for me. My smartphone is basically the hub of my life and occupation.
My workouts and my meals are all logged into the smartphone application. I was able to communicate with Coach Chris through the smartphone application as well. Every week we have a phone call "check-in," but its honestly not needed. I saw this because I communicated daily with Coach Chris almost everyday through the smartphone application. Every time I had a question or concern I messaged Chris and he got back to me promptly. More often than not before I even left the gym!
All of the prescribed exercises of each workout have an accompanying video and written instructions which i found very helpful. After a few weeks of doing squats during my workouts I had a very specific question about how I was doing the exercise. Coach Chris had me take three videos of me squatting from different angles. I sent them to Chris, he analyzed them and then returned them with graphic overlays. I was completely impressed! He then called me and we went over the videos. Problem solved!
The nutrition planning isn't restrictive. He keeps it simple and easy for me to get the proper nutrition on the go. He gave me great suggestions and got me started with meal prepping. Meal prepping sounded hard. As it turns out its a life changer! It actually lessened my overall stress!
Coach Chris takes a realistic three sided approach to training his clients: train, eat right, and rest. I have never slept well. Because of my schedule and poor sleep habits Chris also suggested that I start daily meditation, and that has helped me immensely.
I kept my weight loss goal minimal, and exceeded that goal in the first 90 days of training with Coach Chris! I feel amazing. I love the way I look now! I've even had to buy new suits for work! I'm not smoking as much as I once did. My incidence of lower back pain has decreased. My overall mental health has changed due to a decrease in the stress that I carry.
When I calculated the financial aspect of all of this I found that over the course of 90 days Chris' online fitness coaching and nutrition planning combined coasts less than hiring a face to face personal trainer! And, when you consider the greater access I had to him through messaging with the smartphone application the cost benefit analysis only gets better!
