They get you in with competitively priced tires, then want to charge for extra services!
Took a van in to the Wake Forest NC store to get 2 new tires because their prices were better than the competition. After a long wait, the technician said that a lug nut on both sides of the vehicle was stuck and it would be $50 each to replace it if it broke. That's utterly ridiculous and nearly the cost of another tire! I refused to pay this fee, asked them to put the removed lug nuts back on, and I left. I went down the road, parked, used a lug nut wrench to successfully remove the so called "stuck" lug nuts. I returned to have the tires installed, leaving the 2 supposed "stuck" lug nuts off. After arriving home, I called to talk with the manager because it seemed like a scam to say that these lug nuts were stuck when I could manually remove them, and then say that the charge to replace them would be $100! The manager, Scott, stated that they were indeed stuck, refused to listen to my complaint, talked over me, and then hung up on me. This is VERY POOR customer service and not at all professional. I do not ever plan to return to this business and will let everyone know how rude the manager is, how he doesn't care to resolve issues, and how extra services they want to charge appear to be a scam!
