Very disappointed

Truck was low tranny fluid. Shop recommended $2,600.00 repair.

My shop has gone above and beyond the norm in helping Jim and his family out. From extensive phone calls in helping him find a Napa Auto Care Center in another city to tracing down a trans problem with his poorly maintained Yukon. Yes his fluid was low upon my inspection added the required amount and proceeded with pressure tests and electrical tests. We even got his hood opened which required a 1/2 hr to do. Explained to Jim that the problem is a leaking valve body and at some point the trans would have to be rebuilt or replaced. When he came in the following day and explained he added trans fluid i explained that since there is no physical leak that it must be going into the transfer case and to keep a eye on the level. Last i heard from him. And to give me such a low mark on this review is unfair as i was very fair on the labor i charged him. I hope he remembers how disappointed he was next time he picks up the phone and calls for advice.
