WARNING – THIS SHOP SCAMS WOMEN
Danny Chan has 3 Mechanic Shops in San Francisco, and are all Licensed under his parent company called: DC Automotive Management Inc., The location I took my truck to is called “My Mechanic”, located at 888 Folsom Street, SF, Ca and is a COMPLETE RIP OFF.
I took my truck there for overheating 2 years ago. Danny Chan said it was a Head Gasket, he said he could fix it no problem, for $5,000.00. After 4 weeks at his shop, he finally said my truck was done. And I picked up my truck. It overheated on the way home. His “repair” didn’t last ONE day. Worse yet, he refused to fix it, even though he gave me a 2 year warranty, in writing (so don’t believe in any warranty). He wouldn’t even answer my calls. These types of shops usually carry insurance, he wouldn’t even submit it to his insurance. He left me and my daughter out in the cold, without any transportation and we are left with the outstanding loan payments on the truck as well. To this date, 2 years later, I still do not have a car, no transportation at all, he took all my money and left us out in the cold. This man doesn’t care at all, especially to women. I don’t believe he ever did anything at all to my truck, just took the money and ran, never looking back. Do not take your vehicle to this shop, you will regret it.
I don’t usually post anything, but in this case I feel I MUST, especially after the strong Women’s March. I feel empowered to speak out and warn other women of this Scammer. Also be warned that he has 3 Auto Repair shops in San Francisco: “My Mechanic” at 585 Bryant St, “Spectrum Auto Body/Spectrum Automotive Services”, 320 10th St., and “The Garage”, 340 10th St, SF.
