After the job was complete, we started the car up and it sounded EXACTLY THE SAME. There was no difference in noise level after the installation than there was when I brought it in. I was disappointed, but hopeful that Jorge would provide a solution. He told me that the other components missing from the exhaust system were the resonators. Once again, he assured me that this would make the car sound like a stock factory exhaust. Regretfully, I decided to trust him again and approved the job ($350 for resonators on both sides).
Surprise, surprise, the car sounded exactly the same. When I asked him why, Jorge simply said that "it's a sporty car, it's supposed to sound a little sporty."
The truth is that the mufflers he installed on my car were not the correct fit. Jorge installed these mufflers on the car knowing they'd make no difference in noise level. I came in the following day asking for them to be removed but they refused, saying "they're my mufflers now."
This shop is content to sell its customers useless junk and stick them with a big bill. I feel like a fool for having trust in them after the business we've done in the past. I'll be advising my friends in the car business to avoid this shop.
