This man is Racist! Don’t spend money here
I was referred to Phil after an electric issue that my wife has an with her Nissan Versa. I was quoted one price but upon arrival for pickup the price had increased by $100. While inquiring into the price change, Phil. The owner and mechanic got irritated with me. He first called me a liar, saying that I
“Worked on the car or had someone else work on it bc of what his facts show”. He cursed me & continued on with derogatory racial comments & instructed me to “be sure to use the front door because my people fought for my civil rights to do so”. I am a black male, a war veteran and a well respected member of the community. I don’t know if I offended Phil with my questions and lack of knowledge on this issue but his actions speaks volumes into his character.
His wife, who works the desk, is awesome but Although she did apologize for his actions, I would not recommend this location to anyone.

And I was not offered a free evaluation at anytime! The discount was offered if I chose to come back for the service I needed in the first place. While I am on a fixed income it has not handicapped me from taking care of anything. You guys swindled a customer.

I am sorry that this customer had a bad experience at Mr Quick Tune and feels swindled.  I tried to reach out to this customer and we were unable to resolve the issues.  All communication has been lost and I wish the best in going forward with the car repair.  I do not want to respond in a negative manner.  The facts have been misconstrued and twisted by the customer due to anger, memory loss or other unknown reasons.  The discount was applied on the most recent repair order and a copy given to the customer for reference.  The estimate was approved by the customer, we rendered the services approved by the customer.    The vehicle needed more repairs and its like an endless battle while no one wins.  I am sorry tires cannot be returned after they have been mounted, balanced and driven on.  Perhaps services should have been denied and/or better communication from both sides at the beginning.  Best of luck moving forward!

Cheryl it is unfair as well as unprofessional to state anything about my income! I said that after a bad experience with Mr. QUICK TUNE. I came in complaining that my car was shaking,sounding like the entire front end was coming off. As a certified mechanic I find it extremely hard to believe that the only thing suggested wad an alignment and 2 tires. I also asked othdf questions being a woman and not knowing much. My concern was the problem I had at that moment. My car needed struts, a control arm as well as the right tire had a missing sway link kit! Now you state a full inspection of $89 was required! This is why most women are skeptical when it comes to car service. The important things that should have been brought to my attention were not. I could have bought used tires and the alignment would have been a part of the process with struts. Basically in the same cost range!!! You can twist it however but I know what I said and so does Phil!!! As stated in our personal texts I have filed a dispute with my bank.

This was my 2nd visit. Based on that I was convinced I could trust the mechanic. This time it was exactly what I'm always afraid of. Anyone that has no knowledge of fixing a car depends on the mechanic to honestly diagnose the problem.If I had known that I needed to be educated on what my car needed I would have done so.Just as you go to your doctor you tell him your symptons and he tells you what is causing the problem.In this case I of course didn't know so I stated the issues I had.When I spoke to Phil he said I needed tires & an alignment.Because of what I was experiencing I questioned, "That's it, is that all"?.Upon leaving I learned quickly that my car was still shaking & felt like the front end was about to fall off! I went back as requested but I was told he took care of what I said,"the shaking". But that's not all I said! So now to fix the problem,I'm expected to pay more!! It's unprofessional to tell me you'll do it but you won't bill me for another alignment!! There is no doubt especially reading reviews Phil knew exactly what I needed but sold me 2 tires for almost $400, almost $600 total. All the while knowing I needed struts & would still have to pay for the service.If I had known the service provided wouldn't resolve my problem I wouldn't have paid that much.I could have bought tires from the shop I always do and paid $600 for the service my car needs so badly. Now being on a fixed income I'm left figjring out how to eat & get my car fixed.I expect honesty & professionalism above all things dealing with mechanics but I am stuck again looking for one. I'm actually more hurt and disappointed than mad. I made arrangements because of my income to use the money for repairs specifically. I knew it would be costly but I expected for my car to be fixed and that is not what I received. It's a shame really.

This customer checked in at the service counter with a complaint of the vehicle shaking while driving and requested a price on charging the A/C, please bear in mind that this customer did not request a full & complete vehicle inspection at a charge of $89.95   We always try to address the customer's complaint as priority and THE CUSTOMER'S SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY!  The vehicle arrived with one bald tire and another tire with a slipped belt.  Both of these tires present a safety issue.  A slipped belt on a tire will create a shaking while driving.  The customer approved the estimate before any services were performed beyond the free inspection.  If a customer does not like our prices they have the option to decline any services and pick up their vehicle.  Phil is not a high pressure sell and the customer had every opportunity to shop our prices before the service approval.

Upon completion and vehicle pick-up the customer returned shortly and complained about a noise.  Phil did drive the vehicle with her and heard the struts making noise.  She did not return with the complaint of the vehicle still shaking; so I am a bit confused.

I have contacted the customer to offer another free inspection for the noise or the shaking???  I would hope that she would reconsider her "WILL NOT RETURN" statement and possibly submit a rescore with her review.  A vehicle may very well have multiple problems.  I understand the fixed income status and this is why repairs necessary are always prioritized with safety as a guideline.

I am not sure why customers become angry with us when their budget is non-sufficient to maintain their vehicles properly.  Perhaps the customer may reconsider her thoughts and her review when she is not so angry.   We are happy to educate anyone on car repair and maintenance but with so much anger and hate there is a loss of  communication and a sense of business.  Please know that we also extended this customer a small discount to her repair bill in lieu of good will of her expressed hardship. We have expressed our concerns and offered a complimentary re-evaluation on her complaint.

On another note due to the supply and demand status of our economy, along with inflation stressing the consumer; the price of tires recently took a price jump of 30%
