I am sorry that this customer had a bad experience at Mr Quick Tune and feels swindled. I tried to reach out to this customer and we were unable to resolve the issues. All communication has been lost and I wish the best in going forward with the car repair. I do not want to respond in a negative manner. The facts have been misconstrued and twisted by the customer due to anger, memory loss or other unknown reasons. The discount was applied on the most recent repair order and a copy given to the customer for reference. The estimate was approved by the customer, we rendered the services approved by the customer. The vehicle needed more repairs and its like an endless battle while no one wins. I am sorry tires cannot be returned after they have been mounted, balanced and driven on. Perhaps services should have been denied and/or better communication from both sides at the beginning. Best of luck moving forward!
Cheryl MoranThis customer checked in at the service counter with a complaint of the vehicle shaking while driving and requested a price on charging the A/C, please bear in mind that this customer did not request a full & complete vehicle inspection at a charge of $89.95 We always try to address the customer's complaint as priority and THE CUSTOMER'S SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY! The vehicle arrived with one bald tire and another tire with a slipped belt. Both of these tires present a safety issue. A slipped belt on a tire will create a shaking while driving. The customer approved the estimate before any services were performed beyond the free inspection. If a customer does not like our prices they have the option to decline any services and pick up their vehicle. Phil is not a high pressure sell and the customer had every opportunity to shop our prices before the service approval.
Upon completion and vehicle pick-up the customer returned shortly and complained about a noise. Phil did drive the vehicle with her and heard the struts making noise. She did not return with the complaint of the vehicle still shaking; so I am a bit confused.
I have contacted the customer to offer another free inspection for the noise or the shaking??? I would hope that she would reconsider her "WILL NOT RETURN" statement and possibly submit a rescore with her review. A vehicle may very well have multiple problems. I understand the fixed income status and this is why repairs necessary are always prioritized with safety as a guideline.
I am not sure why customers become angry with us when their budget is non-sufficient to maintain their vehicles properly. Perhaps the customer may reconsider her thoughts and her review when she is not so angry. We are happy to educate anyone on car repair and maintenance but with so much anger and hate there is a loss of communication and a sense of business. Please know that we also extended this customer a small discount to her repair bill in lieu of good will of her expressed hardship. We have expressed our concerns and offered a complimentary re-evaluation on her complaint.
On another note due to the supply and demand status of our economy, along with inflation stressing the consumer; the price of tires recently took a price jump of 30%
“Worked on the car or had someone else work on it bc of what his facts show”. He cursed me & continued on with derogatory racial comments & instructed me to “be sure to use the front door because my people fought for my civil rights to do so”. I am a black male, a war veteran and a well respected member of the community. I don’t know if I offended Phil with my questions and lack of knowledge on this issue but his actions speaks volumes into his character.
His wife, who works the desk, is awesome but Although she did apologize for his actions, I would not recommend this location to anyone.
