I live in VOC and this was my first visit to Mikes, which was a bit of a drive from home, but he was highly recommended to me by a close friend. I needed him to investigate a "check engine light" on my 2012 Nissan Rogue which I had been ignoring for too long but thought I'd better not push it too much further. I went by his shop to simply meet him and get on his schedule but he managed to squeeze me in that very afternoon. He confirmed that the problem was with the Mass Air Sensor and was able to find an OEM part (!) and had it installed the same afternoon. Needless to say, I was a happy guy !
Obviously, not everyone will be as fortunate with the timing as I was but every step of the way, Mike - who is a very knowledgeable, patient and friendly guy - explained the procedure and answered my "what if" questions ensuring that we were on the same page and no surprises. Final cost was right around what I anticipated.
Needless to say, Mikes is now my new go-to mechanic !!
