Complete scam.
I went in to get my AC checked because my car had been blowing hot. They said they had just recharged it and now it was blowing cold again. Charged me 267 dollars and on the drive home from picking it up I was trying the AC and noticed that it wasn’t blowing cold at all and was still blowing hot air. I brought it back not even 30 minutes later so they could look at it again and now they’re telling me my compressor is dead and it will be 1800 to get it fixed. I tried to ask for a refund or at least a partial refund because they had told me it was fixed when it wasn’t fixed at all. They told me that it was fixed and that it must have broken the second I drove off their lot, and that I wasn’t gonna get any money back because the compressor must’ve died after they charged it and that they didn’t know it was dead when they charged me 267 dollars the first time. All in all I would stay away from this place, I and my family have spent a great deal of money with Midas. But after this experience we don’t feel comfortable giving them anymore business.
