Feeling ripped off
Picking up a 2004 Touareg this afternoon. Has about 89K miles on it. I had the brakes done at Les Schwab for half the price they quoted me at the dealership. In addition the bearing was going out in the drive line. We had to use the dealership for the parts. Original conversation with the dealership was the cost would be couple hundred. Took the car in and got the "official" quote for 1900 (with out tax) to replace the entire drive line. Given it needed to be done at a dealership I am stuck and had it done. Will be picking car up, and then getting rid of it. I'm done with Volkswagen and if this service department is aligned with the Toyota service department, I'll be looking elsewhere for a new Toyota
