Mechanic told me axle replacement will take care of knocking, engine mounts will take care of shaking. Picked up having same issue as when I dropped off! call immediately told to bring back in . Mechanic calls back saying I need to pay an additional $$$$ to fix the shaking. When I asked why it would be more and you told me if I had mounts replaced it would take care of the problem.
Mechanic then said to me “he DID NOT dig deep enough to find out what the problem was , and he DID NOT have a Magic Wand he couldn’t tell me what’s wrong with it “However he wanted to charge me
additional $$$$ for a issue that should have already been fixed ,and with the comment he just made about Not digging deep enough and not having a Magic wand to know what wrong with my car. Why would I pay additional $$ when you don’t even know what’s wrong or how to fix it??
I should have been told it may or may not fix my issue , or at least that the business doesn’t dig deep enough to find what’s wrong.
