They said we would get the clean car tax credit; they knew I was new to buying an electric car. They did not tell me that my lease did not qualify for the credit and that the DEALERSHIP would receive it. My deal was always a lease, never a purchase. I found this out the hard way when I went to file my taxes and did not have the 15400 form to get the credit. Lesson learned on my end, I should know better than to trust a dealership.
