Incredibly disappointed in my last service.
I’ve taken my car to Masterworks for years, spending thousands of dollars at their shop.
Brought it in for front control arms, front brakes and two new tires.
Upon paying and starting my car, I notice that the service light is still on. I ask to have it checked, and the one mechanic asked me if I had another key fob. He says the car wouldn’t start. I go out and insert the key, and it starts right up as usual. He literally didn’t know how to start the car. Says he “doesn’t work on many foreign cars.” The entire reason I’ve gone to Masterworks is because they said they handle BMWs. One employee said “I’m your BMW guy.” Apparently he no longer works there. Hasn’t in a while. I asked if they could check as to why the light was still on. They actually said “because it probably needs service.” Another mechanic hooked up a sensor, which also didn’t tell me a whole lot, other than I may need rear brakes, which I will not be getting at Masterworks.
Guy behind the desk wasn’t a whole lot of help either.
After spending thousands, I left feeling like I wasted thousands.
