First time buyer!!!
I came here this past Friday to purchase my first ever car, and I had such a great experience. My salesman Brian was so great, very patient and and made the process much more smooth. He said he just started a couple months ago, but I definitely recommend!!

Wish Zero Stars Was Possible
The basics: call, but don’t expect an answer; leave a message, but don’t expect a call back; drop you car off for service, but don’t expect any actual service; expect a Hyundai dealer to provide Hyundai service, but don’t expect that from Mac Haik Hyundai service. I don’t know how Hyundai continues to let Mac Haik treat their Hyundai customers as they do. My honest hope is that Hyundai removes itself from the Mac Haik name because it tarnishes the Hyundai name. I will never buy another vehicle from Mac Haik or Hyundai once my current situation is solved. My Hyundai vehicle is at the Hyundai service center not being serviced because the Hyundai service center does not know how to fix my Hyundai that’s at their Hyundai service center. The service department’s game is to not have anyone on hand to actually service Hyundais, which forces you to just buy a new one. It’s as unethical of a business model as I’ve ever seen. I can’t believe they are allowed to do it, but being told they’ll trade virtually any vehicle, even vehicles with blown engines, to get you in a new one proves that the fact they only have one Hyundai service tech on hand who doesn’t even know how to service Hyundais because they don’t want to service vehicles. They only want to force you to buy a new one. Avoid Mac Haik dealership in Victoria, TX at all costs.

Service department is in bad shape
My car has been there for a month and they still haven't taken the time to diagnose the problem. The service department has never, not once, returned any of my calls. I have to just keep calling and hope someone will accidentally answer. Then it's always some BS about how they are going to look at it this evening and submit the paperwork to Hyundai for repairs, then they got too busy but they're looking at it right now, then I'm in line behind every oil change and routine maintenance job that comes through. It's extremely frustrating to be without my car for a month and feel that I'm probably getting a runaround.

Cannot get anyone answer phone. Have left numerous voicemail messages and no one calls you back. Maybe if said I was interested in buying a car (which I’m not), someone would call me back immediately.
Unable to get anyone answer phone. If this is a new phone service/system they need to change immediately!! My car is still under warranty...Atzenhoffer could not figure problem so had take to Mak Haik...4 different times. Paul, the Service Manager never returns calls (WHEN you actually get to speak to a human...called 10 times in one day & finally spoke to a human...got transferred to Paul’s voicemail) so don’t bother leaving a message..never calls back. I’ve heard NUMEROUS people complain about this dealership and it is the most unprofessional place I’ve ever had to deal with. They need to fix this ASAP.

Sells faulty cars then want to charge 14,000 to fix
Do not buy a Hyundai they sell faulty cars . Car was was purchased in April 2021 March 2022 while being driven all dash light went out and small fire in engine compartment. Was sent to dealer for repair they had the car 2 months then stated car was not under warranty and would cost 14,000 to repair . If a dealership or a Manufacturer does not stand behind their product … RUN ! STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP AND HYUNDAI THEY JUNK CARS !!!!!!!!!!!

Was sent to dealer for repair they had the car 2 months then stated car was not under warranty and would cost 14,000 to repair . If a dealership or a Manufacturer does not stand behind their product … RUN ! STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP AND HYUNDAI THEY JUNK CARS !!!!!!!!!!!

Service Dept needs to get organized ?
My car had several recalls on it. Made an appointment a week ago to bring it in. I was told when I made the appointment that it would only take several hours. When I went to my appointment, I was told it was going to take all day! Completely messed up my schedule. Next day, my boyfriend calls to check on my car and he is told they have no record of me or my car. I was completely upset!! How can they lose my car?? Had to get a manager involved to locate my vehicle. As soon as they found it, I went to go pick it up right away. Will never go there again and do not recommend!!

No one answers the phone in Hyundai Service
I’ve been trying for an hour and 15 minutes to try to schedule a service diagnosis on 2022 Tucson with engine light on. Tried 2 different numbers for Mac Haik Hyundai Service Department. No one answers the phone. So I called Mac Haik Ford Service who transferred me to Hyundai Service Dept., still no one answers. Very poor way to run a business.

Tire Issue
I was told my tire (3 months old) had a nail in the tire wall and I would need a new tire. The tire wasn’t in stock and would need to be ordered. Went to Discount Tire and they fixed the tire at no charge to me. Felt shady to me!
