Transmission issue

i brought my 2017 ford escape into this shop 4 times for the same issue. However it was required by the warrant co. And carvana. Took it to a Ford dealership and should have done this before. Yes, it needs a new transmission. My question is why wasn’t diagnosed in the beginning, everyone said the transmission fluid had metal shavings in it and dark fluid. But here’s the funny part this shop said
they changed, inspected and toped off the fluid. Really? I get this shop works for the warranty company, but to be so blind to notice this problem. I think its a scam!!!!
