Website offer is bogus
I recently needed a state inspection. Laments had all 5 stars on Google Maps from 50 reviews, they were close and their website mentioned free inspections for new customers. It didn’t live up to those expectations.

I scheduled an appointment but on the day of the appointment my car sat and sat. The shop was behind schedule but never notified me. I called around 130 asking for an update. No response. I came in person about 330 and was told they wouldn’t be able to finish until 530, after closing!

They wasted no time adding a quart of oil without asking me - all I wanted was an inspection. I even had a spare bottle of oil already in my car!

Ultimately, I did get the inspection completed day of the appointment and I was given feedback about a tire that was close to the limit but with never giving a quote for the inspection before starting, the POOR communication of delays, the eagerness to add unwanted services, and not even mentioning what their website still boldly claims, I’d say try somewhere else.
