I purchased a new GV80 from Key Genesis, Southside Blvd. location, in 2021. I have maintained all of my required service at this location. I must say that my salesperson was very good. Service representatives were good on the surface, but don't be fooled. One important issue is good luck trying to connect with service representatives when you call. Call the dealership, get transferred, and the phone rings indefinitely. I called and scheduled for routine warranty service and specifically asked for a mechanic that had history with working on my vehicle and I preferred to use. I showed up for the scheduled day and asked if the requested mechanic would be working on my car and I was advised by service rep "Zach" that he would be the mechanic servicing my car. I even asked when I turned my car in if I would still have the same mechanic and I was assured yes. When I got home and looked at my invoice and I discovered someone else worked on my vehicle.
Credibility was gone for me when you can't be honest about a simple customer request. Also, when I returned home nonstop from the dealership, I discovered that one of my wheel caps was missing. Since my tires were rotated during service, I called and immediately returned to the Key Genesis. Instead of dealing with service, I went to the parts department and purchased the missing part. We as consumers need to remember that we have the power to keep these people in business. After financing I spent over $70,000 on my vehicle, I DON'T EXPECT THIS KIND OF SERVICE! On a lighter note, the Genesis GV80 is a great vehicle.
