Me and my wife walked into the dealership trying to trade in two vehicles and get into new ones over the course of a weekend. Amanda Ludwig made that happen for us and that was no small task. She was patient with our situation and stayed hours after closing on the first vehicle to get this done for us. She didn’t try to upsell us on anything and worked with us through the entire process. Quick to respond to any questions we had, courteous, professional and a joy to work with. I will not be going anywhere else in the future thanks to the experience we’ve had working with her.

Never Going Anywhere Else
KG Hyundai Downtown has my loyalty. Their service center is, in my opinion, one of the best out there. I'm always wary of auto shops and dealerships and don't trust easily. However, I've been getting my car serviced here for a couple of years and I don't want to go anywhere else. These guys are the real deal. I usually work with Laura Gilson and she always makes me feel heard and valued as a customer. I got my emissions testing and registration done at this location earlier this year and experienced some poor communication (not from Laura). I was frustrated initially, but both Daniel Packer and Laura ensured I was taken care of and went out of their way to make things right. I also spoke with a customer service rep today to address my upcoming appointment and they were very prompt, professional and kind. I hung up feeling uplifted - how often can you say that about an interaction with an auto shop or dealership? They know what their brand slogan "We Hear You" means. I'm not going anywhere else any time soon to get my car serviced. Thank you, KGH Downtown team!

Lied about the work being done
It was my first time at the dealership because I moved to SLC. I have what is essentially a brand-new Hyundai that needed routine service.
First off, they tried telling me my car wasn't covered under the HCM program, even though it has a long way to go before I'm at 3 years or 36K miles; second is that they didn't rotate my tires when I asked for it to be done, and they said it was done (I mark them going into the garage to know if they're flipped as past garages have done the same); third is that they didn't replace my cabin filter when it was a requirement for the service package, but they noted the full package was completed, and I asked for it to be done.
Then I called and notify them after I returned home and checked. The filter was never changed. The service rep said they'll fix it, and never called back.
They are liars and untrustworthy. Go someplace else. The full garage should walk with their heads down.

SAVETY RECALL
I was very unhappy with the service department. I scheduled an appointment for a safety recall installation. This, I was told would take about an hour. When I arrived for the appointment I was told that I would not get the car back for about 6 hours, not happy. Evidently an appoint doesn't mean very much to them. I felt like I had been put at the rear of the list.

Bad experience with Service
I have to say, I have bought our last two new cars from Ken Garff Hyundai and was very happy with the experiences from a Sales perspective. However, we recently took in our 2015 Santa Fe with 144,000 miles on it, since the engine obviously was bad and was making a horrible knocking noise. The closest appointment they had was two weeks later, so I scheduled it. We had our vehicle towed to the dealership. I figured they would look at it that monday, since that was when our appointment was scheduled, but they didnt. I waited until wednesday to call them, they still hadnt finished diagnosing it. Finally a couple of days later, I called for an update and they told me the engine was shot and would need a replacement. I was told that it was out of warranty but they would reach out to Hyundai to see what they could do, which I appreciated. However, it has now been well over a month and it feels like nothing has been done. I dont receive any updates unless I call, which I have done about once a week. I didnt want to leave a review, but couldnt figure out how to leave my feedback with someone who would care. I dont think I will be buying my next vehicle from Ken Garff, which frustrates me since I have had good sales experiences here.
Even during the remodel, still the best dealership around
Due to the remodel, it is a bit more difficult to wait while service is performed, but I'm sure it will be great once the new building is open. Can't wait to see the finished product!
Bought my car there 10 years ago, and have taken it back every time it needs service. I’ve always had a good experience there and they’ve always treated me with professional care and courtesy. Will continue to go there for my vehicle needs.
Regular oil change appointment was in and out with friendly service, and it was done in less time then they told me

Touch/feel/drive request
I stopped in for a Tucson touch/feel/drive visit. I was fortunate enough to be greeted by David Suljic. The nicest thing was the calm, listening, action taken at this visit. He is a quality person and it showed in every exchange. He let me lead then he filled in the blanks. He didn't just hear me, he listened calmly - politely and processed my requests. Thank you for the quality visit.
