oil change and tire rotation service
I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation for my 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz before an upcoming girls road trip, before arrival I marked my two back tires so that I could be sure that the tires were definitely rotated as I requested. After waiting for over an hour, I was notified that my car was ready. I left the dealership and visited a nearby restaurant, after exiting my vehicle I glanced at the rear drivers side tire and noticed where I marked it , the tire wasn't rotated, I then checked the other side, it also wasn't moved. I called the dealership, I was told more than once ( on the phone) that yes my tires were definitely rotated, I informed the technician that I had marked my tires before arrival and I know they were not touched. I was then told to bring my car back to the dealership. I was met on arrival by the technician who supposedly had serviced my vehicle and I even showed him where the tires were marked. He took the car back for a 2nd attempt at a simple tire rotation, after another hour wait, I was called that my car was ready, I got to my car and Once again my tires were not rotated!! The same two tires with the marks were on the back of the vehicle..I informed everyone in the service department about the incompetence of the technician and that after a second attempt that the tires still were not rotated..My car was once again returned to the garage, and I was actually personally called into the garage to watch as my tires were finally rotated by a totally different technician, and to top things off the original technician asked me where did I want him to put the two back tires....I was beyond livid with my visit...a simple oil change and tire rotation ended up taking 3 hours and 3 attempts...now I even wonder if my oil was changed ...beyond ridiculous, and if you're a woman like myself, mark your tires..
