I started going to Joe's a couple years ago,and at first the service wasn't bad.The prices seemed a bit high for what I had done, but it was fixed. Then I went to have a check engine light diagnosed,to which I had ignition wires replaced.Ten days later the light came on again, with the same loss of power.I brought it back,he said it was a misfire on one cylinder, but could not find anything wrong with it.A few days later the light came on again, and this time had Auto Zone hook up the diagnostics machine, which showed a P300 code, which is a random misfire.I made an appointment to bring it in again, but that morning the light went off on it's own.I told Joe's wife that the light went off,but she told me to bring it in,so I did.I missed a few hours of work, and then Joe told me that he can't check anything without the check engine light on.Why tell me to bring the car in then? I had just about given up on this place, but tried one more time, and wanted to talk to Joe about the car now shaking, and ready to stall in traffic before the light comes on now.He never returned a call, and it was not the first time.If you don't know how to fix something, just tell me,instead of wasting my time, and losing hours from work. They are nice people, but my car is still screwed up,and I'm bringing it somewhere else today.
