Ultimately, job took too long
I needed my wiper switch & motor looked at and fixed as well as my fan blower switch. The first time I brought it in there were understandable complications. I was told I'd be called back the following Monday so that we could finish the job. That was 3 days to wait. I waited 2 weeks before I finally called back. I found out that I was forgotten. When I finally was rescheduled, I was told the parts would be in the day I was due in. I came in as scheduled, was asked to wait. I sat for 30 minutes waiting only to find out that my part was not there. I had to go home and come back another day. After all that, I really didn't want to go back. Two weeks after that scheduled appt I was called again... reminded that the parts were in. I took my truck in, had it worked on, but I still have the same problems. I still have sporadic wipers and now my blower doesn't work. To be clear, both problems have a two fold problem. Jeff's worked on one. It may take some time for me to feel comfortable coming back.

I'm sorry to hear you would not recommend us Heidi. The problem we're having with your vehicle is the parts are Obsolete. We found this out after many attempts to get the parts needed for the repair. When i got involved with the situation, i started doing research and found this out. I spent many hours trying to help you. Even when your 1994 Blazer was newer and not outdated (back in the 1990's) i remember replacing those switches on many of the S10 Trucks and Blazers that we worked on. They had a big problem with overheating and melting the switches. This is the first S10 i had seen in a long time and didn't realize that the problem was never resolved by GM and the parts are now Obsolete.
