Patti Evans is the BEST!!! Top management should give her the highest award for her work ethic and customer relationship. I’ve been working with her since July 5th to get my vehicle repaired. She communicated with an out of state insurance company and myself. She kept me abreast along the way. She let me know about consumer rights. She’d call to update me, and when I came in to check, she knew me and greeted me by name with a smile and truthful words. She’s professional, friendly, knowledgeable and top notch! If it wasn’t for her I would have taken my business elsewhere!! Because of her I’d give the business an upgrade to low average rating. However, I’d give her a TEN!

caught in the trap
My new Elantra threw a code regarding engine/drive train issue. I called Blue Link and the operator was able to see the code. She said it was important but not urgent. She got me an appointment at Jeff Wyler in Springfield (where I bought the car). So far, so good.
When I showed up, they asked whether I wanted to leave the vehicle or wait. This turned out to be an inside joke. I was informed that it could be up to 5 days before it was diagnosed. I asked for a loaner since this was a brand new car with 1100 miles on it. "We don't have any loaners." is not what I wanted to hear, When I said that this was my only transportation, they offered a ride home.
Now I'm at home with no transportation and no idea about when I'll get my car back. I'm thinking of using the Ohio lemon law to go back to square one. I like the vehicle but the service from Jeff Wyler is so far below the standard that I am left steaming.

2016 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED
BOUGHT A JEEP IN MAY 2 DAYS LATER I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK BECAUSE OF OIL LEAK. AFTER I CALLED AROUND AND FOUND THE OIL PAN THEY FIXED IT. 5 MONTHS LATER I HAVE AN AXLE SEAL LEAK THEY SAY THIS IS NOT COVERED EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THE WORTHLESS 6 MONTH 6000 MILE ASSURANCE WARRANTY AND THEYH WANT TO CHARGE ME 179 FOR DIAGNOSTIC AND 938 TO FIX

Upset
I was upset to find out that I was charged $175 for filters when I could buy them for $10 and my husband could have changed them. It makes the “free” oil change not free.

Great communication
The employee I worked with at Jeff Wyler came went out of his way to update me on the progress of my service several times while I waited in the customer lounge. He also called me after my visit to update me on the status of submitting a claim regarding my tire coverage.

Still lousy customer service
It’s now been a full week since my car went to service and I still have not been provided an initial diagnosis. Have tried to contact general manager corporate office and still no response. Got a call after I wrote a bad review by Jared on Monday. He said he’d call me right back with status of my vehicle. Still waiting. Unbelievable.

The service department was awesome. We dealt with Tasha Byers and she was great. We had to use the shuttle service and the gentleman the took us home and picked us up was courteous and friendly. I would highly recommend their service department to anyone.

Unresponsive and lousy customer service
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a dealership’s service department. Dropped my car off for service last Wednesday morning for an 8:30AM appointment, and it is now Monday of the following week and I’ve heard nothing on the status of my car. I’ve called multiple times a day, with no response. Called general manager Robert Dean twice, never answers phone, left two voicemails and no response. I live 45 minutes away, so I’m going to have to have someone give me a ride to go there to ask for status of my vehicle. I will never buy a Hyundai again. Do not do business with this dealership.
